Jason N. Allen joined the Semrad Law Firm in January 2021 as an associate in our Dallas office. Mr. Allen represents clients in the Lone Star State in preparing, filing and litigating consumer bankruptcy cases. Throughout his career, he has assisted debtor-defendants and plaintiff-creditors in successfully resolving adverse proceedings, preferential transfers, objection to discharge. Mr. Allen has successful represented clients in the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas.
Prior to joining the Semrad Law Firm, Jason N. Allen practiced consumer litigation with a national law firm representing debtor-defendants in state court. In addition, Mr. Allen worked as an Attorney Advisor for the United States providing interpretation and compliance of federal and local laws, regulations, policies, and operating procedures on loan applications for the Small Business Administration (SBA).
Jason N. Allen received his Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law where he was the Danforth Law Scholar. While attending law school, he worked as an intern with the Land of Lincoln Project assisting low-income and senior residents of Southern Illinois with obtaining relief under Chapter 7 and income security. Mr. Allen was awarded a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University, majoring in Political Science and History, magna cum laude.
