Northern District of Georgia Bankruptcy Courts

Atlanta, Gainesville, Newnan, and Rome are the four divisions of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, each with jurisdiction over a specific county.

The Atlanta Division serves these counties: Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Newton and Rockdale.

Please note, that when visiting the court, you must bring with yourself a form of ID and be prepared to show it upon entering the federal building. Additionally, you should know mobile phones and other electronic devices such as cameras are not allowed beyond the security checkpoints.
